element method.Thus, the mold design way is usually use magnified safety factor method.
But for bigger items or use high-pressure precision forming process, we should calculate through the strength of respond cavities, to avoid overflows or destroy because of non-enough strength and deformation.For simple structure strength
calulated , we can refer the design handbook of plastic mold design.The structure cavity can be analyzed by finite element or profeesional software.
To ensure the precision of parts, the mold design shoule notice below points:
1) suitable design amplification coefficient of mold.Under ensure smooth formingm situation, it should greatly reduce the quantity of binder.
2) reasonable mold structure. The precision dimension components should have a certain hardness,have a reasonable tolerance , and reasonable process structure to ensure machining precision.
3) reasonable select the position and form of gate.
4) reasonable select ejection way, greatly ensure stable ejection and reduce deformation.
5) the mold should have temperature adjustment system, greatly ensure balance colding and filling, reduce the non-balance density.
6) reasonable select cavity quantities and distribution, as much as possible use symmetric layout to ensure balance filling. Specially precision components, it should reduce cavities
7) reasonable space, to avoid burr and flash.
