From the development circumstance of powder metallurgy industries abroad,we could know that oversea traditional steel forging industries are replaced by powder metallurgy.The production value of global steel powder (powder metallurgy iron powder) has achieved 450000 tons in 1991,700000 tons in 2000 and 1.2 million tons in 2010.Thus the corresponding sales value of powder metallurgy parts(Mainly for iron-base powder metallurgy parts) has achieved $30 billion.
So it is no doubt that powder metallurgy industries are facing a large opportunity to show,more and more parts,such as medical parts,auto parts,household apppliance parts would be produced by powder metallurgy process as its advantages,and more and more traditional forging parts would be replaced by modern powder metallurgy process.
