The binder can bond the metal powder particles and make the mixture has rheological property and lubricity when heated in injection cylinder,it means it can make powder flow. As a result, the selection of the binder is the key to the whole Metal Injection Molding process.
The requirement of binder:
1. Less dosage,use the less binder to make the mixture possess a better rheological property.
2. In the process of removing,no chemical reaction would be appeared between the binder and the metal powder.
3. Remove easily, no any residual carbon is left.
